The Cut, the site covering women’s lives and interests from New York Magazine and Vox Media, today launched Keep It Moving, a limited-run section covering women’s sports, presented by Team Milk. Running through the end of March, the section will bring the Cut’s distinctive voice and lens to the world of women in sports from a variety of angles, including culture, fashion, wellness, money, and more.
“It’s been an ambition of mine to expand the Cut’s coverage into sports in a more significant way for quite some time, so I’m thrilled to be able to create even more space to have conversations around women athletes, pay equity in sports, and give women’s sports the attention they deserve,” said Lindsay Peoples, editor-in-chief at the Cut.
Keep It Moving will track the biggest headlines in sports, while focusing on the stories of women athletes across the industry who continue to make history in the once male-dominated world of sports. Readers can expect interviews with iconic athletes, the hottest news from the sidelines, essays from writers who have in some way been transformed by a sport, advice for how to get into sports and the best items to buy if you’re thinking about it, and even more of the Cut’s ongoing fitness and wellness coverage.
Team Milk’s sponsorship of the section is part of its commitment to supporting women athletes, which includes Every Woman’s Marathon, the only women’s marathon in the U.S., designed for and by women and announced today. Built to be inclusive, accessible, empowering, and community-building, Every Woman’s Marathon will be a weekend of wellness and celebration, inviting runners of all levels to be marathon finishers. Every Woman’s Marathon is not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about celebrating female strength and empowering every woman’s journey through the transformative power of community.
As well as providing all women with support, inspiration, and community, Milk also provides the essential nutrition runners seek, such as high-quality protein, hydration, electrolytes, and more to support their fueling and recovery. The inaugural Every Woman’s Marathon will take place in Savannah, Georgia, on November 16, 2024, and runners can sign up at EveryWomansMarathon.com
The Cut’s Keep It Moving program will also come to life at SXSW in March via a How I Get It Done panel presented by Team Milk. Over the next several months, additional components of this partnership will run across additional brands in the Vox Media portfolio.

About the Cut
The Cut launched in 2008 as New York’s corner of the fashion world, and it quickly fostered a wide readership. It has since expanded to apply its distinct voice and lens to cover women’s lives and interests, and a 2017 redesign cemented its place as a leading digital lifestyle publication. Today, the Cut’s mission is to meet readers where they are, in their careers, relationships, styles, and skin-care routines, to deliver authoritative service, thought-provoking reporting, and intimate personal essays that sharpen readers’ ideas and enter their group chats.
