14 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Swatch to Sanuk

Photo: Retailers

For this week’s Don’t DillyDally we’ve surfaced lots of limited-edition finds that we’re sure will sell out, including a tote bag from Heart of Dinner that supports Asian elders, a Jesse Tyler Ferguson–designed apron from chef-favorite Hedley & Bennett and a Billie Holiday–inspired candle from Harlem Candle Co.

Kassatex x Bandier

Bandier, the activewear retailer, is the latest brand to add loungewear to their lineup. They’ve partnered with Kassatex, makers of some of the best hotel-style sateen sheets according to hotel insiders. The collaboration includes this alpaca robe — its open weave making it a useful transitional-weather staple. The robe is currently available for preorder and expected to ship April 30.

Diptyque

To celebrate the brand’s 60-year anniversary, Diptyque has released a new eau de parfum, Orphéon, inspired by the bar next door to the brand’s very first boutique in Paris. The woodsy perfume has notes of cedar, tonka bean, and juniper berries along with a hint of jasmine.

Harlem Candle Co.

Also on the scent front, Harlem Candle Co. is honoring blues icon Billie Holiday. The candle’s heart notes contain gardenia, inspired by the flower Holiday always wore in her hair. This white floral is layered with bergamot, neroli blossom, sandalwood, and vetiver. The glass features a black-and-white photo of the singer.

Andrew Teoh x Heart of Dinner

Heart of Dinner, a nonprofit that supports Asian elders through thoughtful care packages of fresh food, has partnered with Brooklyn designer Andrew Teoh on two totes. The first run sold out in less than 24 hours. But the next batch is currently available for preorder. This style has a rendering of bok choy — which is often included in the care packages — and symbolizes wealth, luck, and prosperity.

Swatch x MoMA

MoMA has teamed up with Swatch on a collection of watches inspired by pieces in the museum’s collection, ranging from Klimt’s Hope II to Van Gogh’s Starry Night. This watch borrows colors and patterns from Piet Mondrian’s Composition in Oval with Color Planes 1. All of the watches are made with nylon, PU coating, and are water-resistant up to 100 feet.

Haruki Murakami x Uniqlo

Another buzzy pairing: Uniqlo collaborated with author Haruki Murakami on a collection of T-shirts that feature motifs from his books and radio show. This black style features a minimalist image of a record on the front and a quote about Murakami’s writing process on the back.

Uniqlo

$15 for 3

Uniqlo also released a new version of their Strat-approved Airism mask, which, despite its three filters, we’ve said is impressively breathable. The redesign includes softer elastic straps to help reduce ear strain and an even seam that’s more comfortable on the face. A new mask also means fresh new hues, like this periwinkle, a spring-appropriate blue.

Disney x Chewy

Disney and Chewy have joined forces for what might be the most adorable collaboration on this list. Offerings include Lion King–inspired dental chew treats, a Buzz Lightyear catnip toy, and this Mandalorian-themed pet bed which has a removable cushion and can be flattened into a bolster-style bed.

Four Loko

Perhaps the most unlikely collaboration on this list, Four Loko (yes, the drink) has released a Gucci-inspired collection that replaces the fashion house’s iconic G pattern with Four Lokos. We’re delighted by these tan monogram socks, which are convincing until you get up close. The collection is currently available for purchase and expected to ship in three to four weeks.

Grateful Dead x Sanuk

Back for their fourth collection, Sanuk and the Grateful Dead have released a range of shoes that riff on some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, and new styles, too. It’s also their most sustainable drop to date. The brand used natural materials like hemp and jute, which are easier on the environment, and reduced their greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent per pair. We like these limited-edition tie-dye Sidewalk Surfers from the collection, which have an embroidered Grateful Dead patch and molded EVA footbeds that shape to your foot over time.

Maude

$49

Maude, one of our favorite makers of aesthetically pleasing sex toys, has released a new egg-shaped vibrator called Drop. It fits in the palm of your hand and is designed for all over stimulation. The three-speed vibrator is made from food-grade silicone, comes in two unassuming shades (gray and green), and is also water-resistant. It’s currently available for preorder and expected to ship in early April.

Hanahana Beauty

To celebrate its fourth anniversary, Strat-favorite shea butter brand HanaHana has released the 4ever Not Ashy collection, including a new shea butter scent, a mug and a T-shirt, both of which feature the tagline “4ever not ashy.” We’re excited about the new shea butter, which smells like pineapple, fresh florals, and creamy coconut.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson x Hedley & Bennett

Chef-favorite apron brand Hedley & Bennett has teamed up with Jesse Tyler Ferguson on a limited-edition capsule collection to celebrate his new cookbook, Food Between Friends. The launch includes a striped apron and potholder in Southwest-inspired hues— a nod to his upbringing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A portion of the proceeds goes to Tie the Knot, an organization that supports the fight for marriage equality around the world.

Drew Barrymore x Walmart

Drew Barrymore is expanding her home-goods line with a cookware collection, created in partnership with Shae Hong, the founder of Made by Gather, a company that makes kitchenware and appliances. Naturally, everything is available exclusively at Walmart. All of the offerings come in a soothing green and have an illuminated touchpad display that looks expensive. This six-quart size is big enough to roast a small chicken and can also reheat and dehydrate.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
