For this week’s Don’t Dillydally, we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out, including ready-to-eat dumplings from Fly by Jing, a nice-looking anal plug from Maude, and cozy pasta bowls from chef Missy Robbins and Jono Pandolfi.
Fly by Jing Dumplings
Although seasonings brand Fly by Jing is relatively new (it launched in 2019), it’s quickly become a pantry staple, beloved by everyone from Ghetto Gastro’s Jon Gray to actor Alan Cumming to Strategist staffers. Now it’s expanded into food. The brand launched three flavors of ready-to-eat frozen dumplings yesterday: pork, shrimp, and scallop; pork, shrimp, and mushroom; and pork XLB soup dumplings. In case you want to try them all, you can grab the variety pack, which includes two of each flavor (six bags total) and ships free.
Maude Cone
Maude, maker of aesthetically pleasing sex toys, has launched its first anal plug, the Cone. It comes in two soft neutral shades — green and charcoal — and is modeled after its best-selling (and Strat-favorite) vibrator. Similar to the vibrator, it’s made from platinum silicone — the same stuff used for injectables and pharmaceuticals — and comes with a dedicated canvas pouch. It’s currently available for preorder and ships by November 19.
Bobby Berk x Yellowpop
Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk has collaborated with Yellowpop on a collection of neon signs. Offerings include signs with cute sayings like “think differently” and “honey I’m home.” There’s also this fun rainbow piece, which looks like something you might see at Dia Beacon.
Vera Bradley x Peanuts
Vera Bradley has collaborated with Peanuts on a collection of bags, blankets, robes, and matching family pajamas. This weekender bag from the collection features vintage Snoopy illustrations from the ’60s and ’70s comic strips and is made from recycled cotton. It has plenty of pockets and ample room, so you can stuff a weekend’s worth of stuff in for a quick trip.
Jono Pandolfi x Missy Robbins
Ceramics designer Jono Pandolfi teamed up with chef Missy Robbins on a bowl that the brand is calling its “coziest shape ever.” It’s slightly deeper and narrower than the brand’s pasta bowl. The bowls are selling quickly (they’re already out of stock at Jono Pandolfi), but if you move quickly, you can snag them from MP.
NYX Cosmetics x La Casa De Papel (Money Heist)
NYX Cosmetics’ Netflix collaborations continue apace. This time, they’ve created a Money Heist–inspired collection, which happens to also be perfect for the holidays. The limited-edition collection includes two eye-shadow palettes, a gold bar highlighter, a tapered makeup brush, two moody lipsticks, an inky black liquid liner, four colorful eyeliner pencils, and a mirror shaped like a Dali mask. For a true sampling of the collection, grab the vault, which includes everything you might need to create a full-face look.
Parade Nude Collection
Parade’s latest launch is nudes. It’s the first time the brand has made skin-toned undergarments (it’s known for its bright eye-catching designs), and they’re made from the brand’s buttery-soft seamless fabric. The collection includes five underwear styles and two tank tops, which are available in the brand’s seven nude hues.
Universal Standard Cashmere Sweater
Universal Standard has released a line of cashmere sweaters just in time for cooler weather. There are two styles — a V-neck and crew neck — and 11 colors to choose from, which range from neutral black to a bright, tomato red. Sizes are already selling quickly, so if you’re thinking of buying one, don’t dillydally.
Jil Sander x Arc’teryx
Another cool-weather launch: Jil Sander has teamed up with Arc’teryx on a line of skiwear. There’s bib pants, ski overalls, long parkas, and shell jackets. This lightweight shell jacket from the collab comes in a nice-looking gray-blue and features leather detailing and a co-branded logo.
Block Shop for Design Within Reach
Design Within Reach and Block Shop have come together on a home-goods collaboration. The line is inspired by sculptor Alexander Calder’s wire circus Cirque Calder. Offerings include framed art prints, flat-weave rugs, and this graphic throw pillow, which is made from Belgian linen and has a different pattern on each side.
ILIA x Alex Mill
Strat favorite Alex Mill has teamed up with beauty brand Ilia on a (very) limited run of its popular Britt jacket. The jacket, which has a relaxed fit and lots of deep pockets, is now available in Ilia’s signature blush pink. It would look nice, we think, layered over a cozy turtleneck or sweater.
