This week is the week for last-minute gift shopping. If you’re still on the hunt, you’ll probably have to rely on Amazon Prime or in-store pickup at this point — or stick to places with fast shipping like Best Buy and Target. Lucky for you, I’ve spent all of this week finding nice things on sale that would make good gifts (and will still arrive on time), and my fellow Strategist writers found even more on-sale tech gifts, toys, and gifts for teens. I’ve included several picks, below, for the procrastinators who love a deal.
If you’re willing to pay for expedited shipping, you can also check out END. Clothing’s sale. I’ve been particularly enchanted by the treasure trove of Aesop products, home décor, and winter accessories there, and I included a few giftable favorites below.
As the end of the year is approaching, so are the end-of-year sales, and some have already started — and are pretty good. Glossier’s warehouse sale is not to be missed, nor is Reformation’s winter sale, which went live earlier this week. We’ll be back after Christmas to round up all the best Boxing Day sales, so stay tuned for more then.
As always, make sure to sign up for the new Strategist Sales Alert newsletter to receive each day’s best deals in your inbox. And if you want even more deals, sign up for our regular email newsletter, which includes deals just for newsletter subscribers.
This extra-large Squishmallow will still arrive in time for holiday gifting. Just look at its fuzzy bellow and little horns!
Our favorite teeth-whitening strips are the cheapest I’ve seen them in a while. They’re just $25 when you apply the on-site coupon, or $1.14 per treatment.
And a pack for those with sensitive teeth (me).
I have my eye on this Rio-approved serum from Topicals, which she says is great for fading discoloration and evening out skin tone.
The matching hydrating moisturizer is meant to calm any redness and sensitivities (especially for eczema-prone skin).
The Instagrammable eye masks make for an excellent stocking stuffer.
Ulta has some pretty good last-minute holiday deals going on through December 24. Select cleansers are $15.
Glossier’s warehouse sale has some very deep discounts. Its recently released Stretch Fluid foundation has “become my everyday go-to,” says writer Arielle Avila. “It’s never drying, and despite being kind of thick out of the pump, it’s incredibly lightweight after application.”
Good-gift alert: This kit includes our Best in Class mascara and an eyelash curler.
Reformation’s last sale of the year is live. I like this French New Wave–y tee.
I’m loving the cornflower-blue shade of this 100 percent lambswool sweater.
More fun colors to wear while the weather is dreary: Boden’s Kew Cord Pants, which we named one of our best corduroys. They’re “green first, and then corduroy,” says Elizabeth Cardinal Tamkin, author of the newsletter The Corner Booth. (If green’s not your gig, they also come in brown, hot pink, navy blue, and rust.)
Everything (including already-on-sale items) at Vans is 25 percent off for “Vans Family” members. It’s free to sign up; all you need is your email. Orders over $80 get free expedited shipping, so you can still gift a pair or two if you order soon.
I found some deep discounts on Barbour coats in the men’s section at Nordstrom. Here’s a nice trench-esque option …
… and another that features the brand’s signature quilting.
Toss this pair of Fair Isle socks into their stocking.
And now, some bags for at least 50 percent off, starting with Everlane’s faux leather work bag.
From one of our favorite travel brands, a packable backpack you can tuck into your luggage.
The ultralight Aviator carry-on is also half off, which is by far the best deal I’ve ever seen for the brand.
Owalas never go on sale, so don’t snooze on this rare deal — it makes a great gift for tweens, in-laws, or any other giftee you’re totally stumped over.
The brand’s coffee cup won’t arrive until after Christmas, so feel free to give this to yourself.
Here’s a surprisingly attractive humidifier to keep your nose and eyes moisturized overnight. It comes with an aromatherapy ceramic tile and matching tray that you can drip your favorite essential oils onto, or you can use the bergamot-forward scent blend that comes with it. Also, and important: It’s not too difficult to keep clean.
I love this relaxation-enhancing pillow mist, which makes an excellent last-minute gift. It’s 25 percent off when you apply the on-site coupon.
And a room spray for the rest of the house, from Aesop. It has notes of pink pepper, lavender, and tobacco.
A very good deal on a Dyson that will arrive in time to tame errant Christmas-tree needles.
These headphones unfortunately won’t arrive in time for Christmas, but you can still gift them for Hanukkah or to a friend you won’t see until the New Year.
If you’ve got an audiophile on your shopping list, get them this Chris Redd–approved speaker. “It’s just the cleanest speaker to me,” he says. “It’s durable as hell. I feel like you could shoot it and it’d be all right.”
Meet your New Year’s Eve plans: our best overall firepit, now $125 off.
