![Republican presidential candidate, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum (L) makes a point during the NBC News, National Journal, Tampa Bay Times debate held at the University of South Florida on January 23, 2012 in Tampa, Florida.](https://pyxis.nohib.com/v1/imgs/646/932/a0acb8183ed479032be3fc4bee2282beb5-25-santorum.rsquare.w330.jpg)
I’ve gotten pretty tired of gross Santorum jokes. But it’s very hard to ignore it when the man pulls stunts like creating a Conservatives Unite Moneybomb. Is his staff totally unaware of the concept of “acronyms”? Or are they actually calculating that any attention is good — or specifically, any attention that pits Santorum against the hated, sneering, liberal elite?
I’m strongly tempted to ignore this, except I fear that if it doesn’t produce the desired response, he’s going to keep provoking us with new groups like Americans Supporting Santorum.
