Recent lottery winner and bodega regular Pedro Quezada is celebrating the fourth-largest payout in Powerball history (a $338.3 million jackpot, though he decided to take a $152 million lump sum) with a rent party for his entire neighborhood in Passaic. A close friend of Quezada’s told the New York Daily News that the new mega-millionaire is going to cover housing costs “for everybody here on this block for at least a month or two months.” Naturally, the pal added, “He’s such a good guy.” Quezada’s other recent spending decisions include taking care of the $29,000 he owed in child support.
