Because some New Yorkers may have sick days left unused this winter, yet another bout of terrible weather is expected to sync up neatly with the morning’s commute, dumping an expected three to six inches of snow on the region and making it very tempting to hibernate at home once more. “Wet, sloppy snow will begin falling before the morning rush and is expected to continue into the early afternoon,” NBC New York reports, somewhat sadistically. That’s an increase from earlier predictions, but, at this point, what difference does a couple inches make? On the plus side, a warm spell is expected to follow the snow. On the minus, it’s supposed to start raining Thursday. At least it should wash some of the ice off.
