Cynthia “Miranda” Nixon’s wife, community organizer Christine Marinoni, has scored a $120,000-a-year job as a special adviser for community partnerships in the Department of Education, the Daily News reports. Nixon and Marinoni have been friends and allies of de Blasio’s since 2001, most recently raising money and adding some star power to his campaign, appearing at his inauguration, and showing up in his comedy skit. So I couldn’t help but wonder, Does what goes around actually come around … in a good way?
