But he still has a massive lead. According to a Wall Street Journal–NBC 4 New York–Marist College poll released Monday, the first conducted since new allegations surfaced about Andrew Cuomo meddling with a state anti-corruption panel, the governor’s favorability rating fell five points in the last month to a new low of 53 percent. However, voters still aren’t flocking to Cuomo’s GOP challenger, Rob Astorino. His rating fell one point, to 22 percent. Among registered voters, Cuomo still has a 31 percent lead over Astorino, so the Republican still has a long way to go if he wants help from New Jersey’s scandal-plagued governor.
