Do Americans want to watch Pippa Middleton on the Today show, not talking about her sister? Thanks to Chelsea Clinton (and Brian Williams), we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out. Middleton reportedly filmed a test segment at a Wyoming hoedown last fall, but sources tell “Page Six” that talks with the royal in-law have slowed down. The network declined to comment, but a source claims, “NBC executives very much like Pippa, but they want to find the role most appropriate for her. The last thing NBC News needs right now is another Chelsea Clinton, a correspondent with a large salary, high profile and no particular purpose.” And so the imaginary feud between the British royals and America’s fake royals continues.
