Well, you can’t say Knicks general manager Donnie Walsh doesn’t stick to his plan. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Knicks have successfully unloaded Jared Jeffries and brought in, for a couple of months anyway, Tracy McGrady. The particulars: McGrady, Sergio Rodriguez, and Houston’s 2011 first-round pick to the Knicks; Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill, Jared Jeffries, Hilton Armstrong, and the Knicks’ first-round picks in 2011 and 2012 (with top-one protection in 2011 and top-five protection in 2012) to the Rockets; Larry Hughes, Carl Landry, and Joey Dorsey to the Kings. We can’t say it better than ESPN’s Chad Ford: “[The Knicks] better get LeBron.”
