We don’t normally post anything after the Week in Review goes up on Friday, but this is too stunning to miss. According to Fox Sports, the Los Angeles Clippers have reached out to Isiah Thomas — Isiah Thomas! — about taking over their coaching, general manager, and president duties. Even by Clippers standards, this would be insane. (Imagine if he had a better record than 7–18 at Florida International. They might transfer ownership to him, too.) Though, actually, we can think of no better pairing of organization and executive. Really, this should have happened years ago. Incidentally, that sound you hear is Bill Simmons’s next 50 columns writing themselves. [Fox Sports]
