At the Masters this year, the golfing press will not include the unwashed masses of TMZ, Deadspin, and Weekly World News. It will only be the smiling, compliant golf reporters whose beats and salaries have been sustained and replenished by Tiger Woods Inc. over the last thirteen years. Thus, that’s when Tiger Woods will return to golf. The questions will be “tougher,” but they will mostly be about golf and, most likely, how rusty Tiger will look in his first tournament since November. The tournament begins on April 8. So now you know what you’re doing that weekend. Hearing Jim Nantz try to talk around “You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye.” is going to be awfully entertaining.
