(Johnny Johnson was a fantastic running back, even if the game seemed to think he was white.) Anyway, just as nostalgia enthusiasts inspired the return of NBA Jam, Tecmo Bowl is back. It’s Tecmo Bowl Throwback, and Kotaku has a full review. They don’t have real NFL players, which is a downside, but they’ve made Detroit’s running back look and play quite a bit like Barry Sanders, and Philadelphia’s quarterback remarkably similar to Randall Cunningham.
