LeBron Going to Miami, Says Everybody, All of a Sudden

When you went to sleep, you had dreams of LeBron James hanging out in Allan Houston’s house all day today, then putting on a Knicks hat at 9:15 while Stuart Scott gave him a back rub. A lot happened since your eyes shut. Around 1 a.m. last night, Newsday’s Alan Hahn, P90X enthusiast and Knicks beat reporter, tweeted: “Multiple sources are telling Newsday that LeBron James has decided to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. The new Big Three is here.” A half-hour later, Chris Broussard of ESPN “confirmed” Hahn’s scoop and, as tends to happen, turned it into an ESPN scoop, so everyone’s saying that ESPN broke the story when ESPN absolutely did not break the story. But enough inside baseball. Everyone is now reporting that LeBron James is joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. We just wanted you to wake up to that news the same way that we did.
