When the Rangers skate against the Avalanche at the Garden tonight, they’ll do so without Marian Gaborik, who, like Chris Drury, sustained an injury during the home opener. Gaborik — whose value to this team can’t be overstated, even though he hadn’t yet scored a goal this season — will miss two to four weeks with a shoulder separation, while Drury will be out four to eight weeks after colliding with Michal Rozsival and breaking the same finger he’d broken during training camp, but in a different place. As for tonight, Todd White will make his Rangers debut; Erik Christensen will return to the lineup; and the lines will be reshuffled in such a way that only the combination of Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov, and Ryan Callahan will remain intact from the season’s first three games.
