The Yankees’ ALDS Rotation Will Reportedly Look Exactly Like You Thought It Would

The Post reports this morning that A.J. Burnett will indeed be skipped in the first round, and that the Yankees will use a three-man rotation of CC Sabathia, Andy Pettitte, and Phil Hughes, with Sabathia pitching a Game 4 on short rest, if necessary. For what it’s worth, Burnett did pitch well against Minnesota this year (1–0 with a 1.54 ERA in two games), but he’s 0–2 with a 6.04 ERA in his last five starts — and that wasn’t even his worst stretch of the season.
