In the monologue split over two videos below — a monologue you suspect Russo’s been writing in his head for decades — he talks about all the heartache the Giants had caused over the years (thus accounting for its eighteen-minute run time), and how his team’s fortunes finally changed. Said the Mad Dog: “Hey, I’m a lucky guy. I got four good kids … I got a nice job … And now I got a world’s championship.”
