Via Neil Best, last night’s Knicks-Celtics game drew a 3.61 rating for MSG — its highest-rated Knicks broadcast since Michael Jordan returned from his second retirement at the Garden in 2001. (Best is actually off by a day; Jordan returned on October 30, opposite Game 3 of the 2001 World Series. Fun fact learned from that USA Today link: Both Mike and the Mad Dog attended parts of both games by leaving the Garden at halftime and taking a limo to Yankee Stadium.) In any case, combining those watching the MSG and ESPN broadcasts last night, 6.27 percent of homes in the New York market were tuned in to the game. [Sportswatch/Twitter, Sportswatch/Twitter]
