Lots of Rangers fans have waited a long time to read that headline. Roszival’s off to Don Maloney’s Phoenix Coyotes, in exchange for forward Wojtek Wolski, who’s notched six goals and ten assists in 36 games with the Coyotes this season, and adds, if nothing else, a healthy body to a team that’s seen Ryan Callahan, Erik Christensen, and, most recently, Alexander Frolov go down with injuries in the past month. The trade — which, barring another move, means the already-young Rangers defense corps will get even younger — gives the Rangers some relief under the salary cap: Wolski, in the first season of a two-year contract, carries an annual $3.8 million cap hit, while Rozsival’s disaster of a contract also runs through 2011–12 and carries a $5 million cap hit.
