Hopefully your NCAA Tournament bracket has not been ruined already: West Virginia just beat Clemson 84-78. The Big East has a still-stunning eleven first-round games, and so far, the conference is 1-0. Clemson might have been a little tired, considering they played late Tuesday night in Ohio and had to play first thing this morning in Florida. Them’s the breaks. The second Big East team to play, Louisville, is having some real trouble with the amusingly named Morehead State; they’re tied 33-33 at halftime. Also, considering there are 23,000 Penn State alumni in our fine city, keep an eye on the Nittany Lions: They’re up seven on Temple halfway through the first half. So, there’s your update, because we know nymag.com is the only place on the Internet where you can check NCAA scores.
