Once again, the Ivy League will not have one of its members win the NCAA national championship. (It’s Forever and Counting!) Princeton gave those hated Kentucky Wildcats all they could handle, but fell 59–57. It was yet another thrilling finish, with a Wildcats basket with two seconds left from guard Brandon Knight, his first field goal of the game. (He was 0-for-7 before then.) There will be crying in the eating clubs tonight. The Big East is 2–1 now, with Pittsburgh and West Virginia winning, and Louisville losing. Tonight, Cincinnati plays Missouri, Connecticut plays Bucknell, and, in the big one, St. John’s plays Gonzaga, which assures that you’ll be exhausted tomorrow. After everything that’s happened so far today, we’re exhausted already.
Sorry, Nerds! Princeton Falls Just Short
