By 4 p.m. yesterday, the NCAA Tournament had featured three buzzer beaters, a wild upset, and a sad Rick Pitino. We’re not likely to have anything like that today. Texas outlasted Oakland, Michigan ended Bruce Pearl’s Tennessee career with a blowout — the last we looked, the Volunteers were down by 30! — and Notre Dame held a lead over a LeBron James-less Akron. The good news is that games are currently being called by Marv Albert and Gus Johnson, and that President Obama’s address didn’t actually preempt any games.
