Bill Simmons’s new website already has a name, a launch date, and its first contributors — and now it has its first content, sort of. ESPN has published two preview stories — one about summer movies (the site, according to Simmons, will be two thirds sports and one third pop culture), and a Katie Baker story about being a fan of the Knicks, reflecting on the season that just ended and the decade that preceded it. (“To be a fan is to be a part of this dysfunctional family,” she writes. “We’re basically stuck with each other.”) Check it out, here. [Grantland/ESPN]
