Jose Reyes and his league-leading .341 batting average (a stat that doesn’t fully reflect how good a year he’s having) still trails Troy Tulowitzki in the All-Star voting, but he continues to close the gap. Three weeks ago, Reyes was in third place, trailing the Rockies’ shortstop by some 635,000 votes. But that number shrunk to 586,956 the following week, to 413,171 last week, and in this week’s update, Reyes trails by 244,832 votes. That said: Voting closes on Thursday night, which means you have just 57 hours left to cast your vote. (And by “your vote,” we mean “your 25 votes.”) Yes, sure, Reyes is going to Arizona whether he gets voted in or not. But still, if you didn’t vote early, you can still vote often.
