The Faux Knicks Snap Their Losing Streak

As previously established, The Sports Section is dealing with the (never going to end) NBA lockout by simulating the Knicks season on NBA2K12 for PlayStation 3 and posting the results here, as if they were actual games. So! Last night, the Knicks snapped their four-game losing streak with an 89–82 win over the Suns in Phoenix. Virtual Carmelo Anthony is still out with an injury, but Chauncey Billups scored 21 fake points for the fake Knicks, while Andy Rautins — who started the game thanks to a banged-up roster — added nine. The win improves the Knicks’ record to 4–6.

As always, here’s a short video from the game, shot by Will off his television, using his iPhone. (Oh, and if you’re wondering why we’re writing a post about a video game that someone else simulated and watched, it’s because Will is a little busy today. Congrats to the entire family, sir!)
