The NBA regular season appears set to start on Christmas Day, but in the meantime, we’ll continue to simulate the Knicks season (based on the original 2011–12 schedule) on PlayStation 3, and post the results here as if they were actual games. So! Last night, the virtual Knicks fell back below .500 — they’re now 7-8 — with a 98-90 loss to the Magic at the Garden. Gilbert Arenas scored 42 points for the Magic, and though Amar’e Stoudemire had 38, he and Chauncey Billups were the only Knicks in double figures.
As always, here’s a short video from the game, shot by Will off his television, using his iPhone. Today, for your viewing pleasure: an Andy Rautins highlight package — one that includes all six of his points, and his one assist.
