nba simulation 2011-12

Faux-Knicks Win Their Seventh in a Row

The NBA regular season is set to start on Christmas Day, but in the meantime, we’ll continue to simulate the Knicks season (based on the original 2011–12 schedule) on PlayStation 3, and post the results here as if they were actual games. So! We would say “break up the Faux Knicks!” but that’s totally happening in a week anyway. The Knicks won their seventh in a row, 89-72 over the Grizzlies. Carmelo Anthony had 28 points, and Amar’e Stoudemire had 20. The Knicks are now fourth in the Eastern Conference at 14-11 and only one and a half games behind the Celtics, whom they play twice in the next five days. Though for our purposes, they will only play once, since our simulation ends before the Christmas Day game. Anyway.

As always, here’s a short video from each game, shot off our television, using our iPhone. Feel the Grizz fever.
