nba simulation 2011-12

You Can’t Stop the Faux-Knicks

The NBA regular season is set to start on Christmas Day, but in the meantime, we’ll continue to simulate the Knicks season (based on the original 2011–12 schedule) on PlayStation 3, and post the results here as if they were actual games. So! The fake Knicks are out of control. They beat the Philadelphia 76ers 87-83 to notch their fifth win in a row and go over .500 for the first time since they were 2-1. (They’re 12-11 now.) Only two players were in double figures, but Carmelo was awesome again. It is getting late, by the way: The Knicks only have four more simulated games until the Christmas Day game with the Boston Celtics that marks the beginning of the actual regular season … and the end of our fake one. Their next game is tomorrow night against the Clippers. This version won’t have Chris Paul.

As always, here’s a short video from each game, shot off our television, using our iPhone. This one is particularly wobbly.
