Tiki Barber Is Returning to TV on Sunday

Former New York Giants Tiki Barber is inducted into the Giants.

Giants fans have, shall we say, a complicated relationship with Tiki Barber. He’s the franchise’s all-time leading rusher, of course, but he’s also the guy who was showered with boos when inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor, and the guy who inspired plenty of “Tiki sucks” chants during the team’s Super Bowl victory parade four years ago. Anyway, his attempt to return to the NFL as a player failed, but he is coming back to TV, at least for one day: He’ll be joining SNY’s post-game show this Sunday. For the record, Barber — who recently said he was denied a meeting with Tom Coughlin to bury the hatchet — said in a statement that he hopes his SNY appearance Sunday will come “after a Giants win as they continue on the road to Indianapolis and the Super Bowl.” Shaun O’Hara, the former Giant who remains on perfectly good terms with fans, will appear on SNY’s post-game show, as well.
