Congratulations to Syracuse, Louisville, Ohio State, and Florida, all of whom won in the NCAA Tournament last night; it is time for Wisconsin, Michigan State, Cincinnati, and Marquette to leave the island, as they say. By this time tomorrow, only eight teams will be left, and by Monday morning, only four. It’s math. But you don’t care about any of that. You just want to know who’s winning the New York Magazine Bracket Pool. Well, it’s someone named “pribut1971,” which was totally our nickname in high school. “Pribut1971” has all his/her Final Four teams remaining, and if Kentucky, Baylor, North Carolina, and Kansas all win tonight (and they’re all favored), he/she will have nailed seven of the Elite Eight. What a jerk.
