We know we’re a little late on our Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals video game preview; we were in Illinois and didn’t have our PlayStation 3 with us. We congratulate you on surviving! Anyway, we ran the Rangers–Capitals series through the NHL 12 machine yesterday, allotting for a Rangers Game 1 win … and the Capitals pounded the Rangers in six games. The final game went into overtime, the video of which we have below. Our PS3 does not like the Rangers much — perhaps because they don’t realize how good Chris Kreider is? Regardless, the Capitals went on to win the Stanley Cup, so there’s that. After the jump, the series-clinching goal.
