Are you the sort of person who starts feeling old when players on his/her fantasy team not only retire, but reach the Hall of Fame? (You think that’s bad, wait until they die.) Anyway, if so, then prepare to lament the good ole days while watching Curtis Martin inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend. The Jets legend – he’s the all-time franchise leader in rushing yards, attempts and touchdowns – will join Cortez Kennedy, Chris Doleman, Dermontti Dawson, Willie Roaf and Jack Butler in Canton this weekend; Martin’s definitely the only one you had on your fantasy team. Martin wasn’t the flashiest back, but he was the most consistent. He’s one of three players who primarily played/worked for the Jets to make the Hall, along with Joe Namath and Weeb Ewbank. Plus: There’s an actual exhibition game this weekend, Arizona vs. New Orleans, in Canton. Football is almost here, folks.

Hall of Famer, this guy.
