The Knicks are still looking for their last couple of players to fill out their roster. One possibility is a tall crazy white dude; another, as it turns out, is a charmingly doofy one. The Knicks are talking with Pacers (and former Suns) center/forward Lou Amundson, and his agent says it’s a real possibility. What do you need to know about Lou Amundson? Well, he sort of looks like Taylor Kitsch in John Carter — J.E. Skeets has a regular Lou Amundson Doppleganger feature — he’s a relentless rebounder and defender, he rides a bike to every game and he once filled Shaquille O’Neal’s truck with packing peanuts. The Knicks can only offer him a minimum contract, of course, and it’s possible he might get a larger offer from another team. But we hope not.
