Tonight at 8 p.m., the New York Yankees get a chance to avenge their ALDS loss last season against the Detroit Tigers. Because the series is, insanely, starting the day after the Yankees just finished their exhausting series against the Orioles, we don’t have a ton of preview material for you, but we did, as always, simulate the American League Championship Series … and Yankees fans should be happy. The fake Yankees swept the fake Tigers, bashing them in four straight. Everything went right – Derek Jeter hit .525 for the series – but the real offensive hero was Raul Ibanez, who hit SIX homers in the four games. The real game will feature Andy Pettitte vs. Doug Fister, in about six hours. We’re not even awake from last night yet, but let’s do it again. After the jump, shaky highlights from the decisive Game Four.

We really shouldn’t have started drinking before picking up our camera.
