USA!

The United States men’s soccer team reached the Hexagonal round of the World Cup qualifying last month — the Hexagonal features six CONCACAF teams all playing each other twice, with the top three advancing to the World Cup (and the team that finishes fourth playing a team from Oceania for one final slot) — and last night, they announced the schedule. It’s a doozy, with USMNT traveling to play three of the first four contests on the road. None of the games have times yet, and none of the “home” games even have home stadiums yet, though it’s very possible that one of them will be played over in Harrison at Red Bull Arena. Anyway, put these in your calendar and plan accordingly next year: World Cup qualifying is awfully fun. After the jump, the full sked:

February 6: at Honduras
March 22: vs. Costa Rica
March 26: at Mexico
June 7: at Jamaica
June 11: vs. Panama
June 18: vs. Honduras
September 6: at Costa Rica
September 10: vs. Mexico
October 11: vs. Jamaica
October 15: at Panama
