Devo
Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 W. 34th St., nr. Eighth Ave.; 212-279-7740
October 30, $42
The crazily dressed throwbacks headline the Metro PCS Masquerade at Hammerstein Ballroom. There’s a costume contest, too! With the Drums and Neon Trees.

Antony & the Johnsons
Alice Tully Hall, 1941 Broadway, nr. 65th St.; 212-875-5788
October 30, $45-75
With the help of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Antony and the Johnsons bring their baroque chamber-pop to Alice Tully Hall. The band will play against a projection of Chiaki Nagano’s eerie Mr. O’s Book of the Dead—sure to add to the Halloween vibe.
Note: Advance tickets are sold out, so check Craigslist or get creative.

World/Inferno Friendship Society
Brooklyn Bowl, 61 Wythe Ave., Williamsburg; 718-963-3369
October 31, $15/Matinee and $20/Evening
Another Halloween, another performance by the infamous “Halloween-tent-revival orchestra.” This year, the Brooklyn Bowl will host two shows by the group. The evening performance is already sold out, but tickets are available for the 3 p.m. matinee (which leaves plenty of time for trick-or-treating).

Robbers on High Street (Playing the Best of ELO)
Mercury Lounge, 217 E. Houston St., nr. Ludlow St.; 212-260-4700
October 31, $8
It remains to be seen whether Robbers on High Street will dress up as the grandiose British pop group of yore, but they will be performing ELO’s greatest hits for their Halloween-night show. Black Dragon and Blue Album Group, a Weezer tribute band, will also play.
