Monday:
Mah-Jongg Night at Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club
7 p.m.; 514 Union St., nr. Nevins St., Gowanus; 347-223-4410.
Standing shuffleboard takes center stage at this Florida-inspired warehouse, but at a few card tables, the owners have been hosting a weekly mah-jongg night since April. Wrangle three friends, sip on island drinks served out of Mason jars, and amass sets of Chinese tiles in an addictive rummylike challenge.

Tuesday:
Donkey at LOVEGUN
10 p.m.; 617 Grand St., nr. Lorimer St., Williamsburg; no phone yet.
For his first Brooklyn venture, gay-bar impresario Benjamin Maisani has created a black-walled and neon-lit locale channeling Studio 54 (launching in mid-June). DJs Josh Sparber and Mikey Fuentes (together they go by Donkey) will hold court over the industrial space’s two floors, playing a blend of funk-infused house music.

Wednesday:
Jazz at District M at the Row NYC Hotel
7 p.m.; 700 Eighth Ave., at 44th St.; 212-869-3600.
Row NYC might be the latest hotel addition to Times Square, but its downstairs cocktail lounge is a respite from the madness. Revelers can recline in leather banquettes and listen to the vintage jazz band Fleur Suele croon 1930s-era swing tunes in Italian, Portuguese, French, German, and Spanish.

Thursday:
Air a Danser at Battery Harris
5 p.m.; 64 Frost St., nr. Lorimer St., Williamsburg; 718-384-8900.
For the past decade, Steve ShakeWell has hosted his semi-underground Sharegroove parties all around Brooklyn; as of last month, he and DJ Matt Brownell can be found spinning Balearic beats on the outdoor patio at Battery Harris. Hard to find in New York, the mid-tempo Balearic genre—born in ’80s-era Ibiza—pairs well with the rum, coconut, and pineapple-flavor Frozen Balearic Breeze, a ShakeWell family recipe.

Friday:
Playland Motel
6 p.m.; 97-20 Rockaway Beach Blvd., Rockaway Beach; 347-954-9063.
The artist-designed Playland Motel’s beachside parties kicked off very quietly last summer. Play a round of beanbag toss, or dance barefoot to a rotating cast of DJs spinning a hypnotic mix of disco and laid-back electronic.

Saturday:
Downtown Saturday Night at the W New York Downtown
9:30 p.m.; 123 Washington St., nr. Albany St.; 646-826-8600.
Katie Longmyer, she of Dark Disco fame, has set up shop at the W Downtown. The summer season means the fashionable crowd can finally spill onto the outdoor terrace, while DJ Jasmine Solano plays up-and-coming hip-hop and dance tracks.

Sunday:
Sunsets at the Jane Rooftop
2 p.m.; 113 Jane St., at West St.; 212-924-6700.
Since the hotel opened in ’08, the Jane’s rooftop has been for members only. This summer, with a reservation, anyone can enjoy the upstairs bar, with its vintage-y fringed furniture and custom cocktails like the West Street Sunset (tequila, orange bitters, and blackberry brandy), starting in the afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays.
