The second showroom from painter and sculptor Tyler Hays, BDDW’s Crosby Street location is filled with one-of-a-kind installations crafted from combinations of fine, heirloom-quality woods and domestic hardwoods. Created by Hays and his team, each BDDW piece is an artistic interpretation of traditional, functional home décor. This installation (Untitled, $27,000) is made up of taxidermy birds found in South America and is not sold separately. Photo: Wendy Goodman

The Abel Sectional is available in myriad sizes and fabrics. (The example pictured here is priced at $28,500 plus the cost of fabric.) Photo: Wendy Goodman

Smooth to the touch, this Bleached Maple Slab dining table ($35,000) is an exquisite example of BDDW’s excellent craftsmanship. Photo: Wendy Goodman
