In this month’s Esquire, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was the subject of their “What I Learned” feature (apparently there were no booby starlets in new movies this month that would return their calls). It’s full of folksy logic and mentions moose meat at least three times. This was our favorite part:
We had flutes and trombones around the house. For my siblings and me, music was important to give us some balance. If it weren’t for music, our entire social life, our avocations, all would have had to do with sports.
Everything I’ve ever needed to know I learned through sports.
Hmmm. Read that again, and then ask yourself the obvious question: Why does any household need multiple trombones?
