Pretty much every day, there’s a story to read on RadarOnline or in the celebrity weeklies telling us that Swedish-model mommy Elin Nordegren is going to leave her husband. So many stories, in fact, that we were suddenly surprised that People, which has the amazing habit of only waiting until they are almost completely sure about something before reporting it, had a story that the two were finally splitting. But after Elin skipped the Masters (can you blame her? All those journalists and cameras and soft clapping?) to go see her mother in the hospital, People joined the divorce bandwagon. “Elin was violently angry over [Tiger’s intense Nike commercial] and thought it was a cheesy thing to do,” one friend told the magazine. “She wouldn’t have gone near the Masters under any condition, but that just made her madder. She is over Tiger. I wouldn’t be surprised if she files for divorce sometime soon.”

Bet she’s wishing right about now that she’d shut her trap and waited for a payoff like Rachel Uchitel allegedly did.
