Somehow, a single young Dutch boy survived the devastating crash of Afriqiyah Airways Flight 771 in Libya this morning, while at least 93 passengers and 11 crew members were left dead. He’s already being called a “miracle child,” but maybe we should stop using the word “miracle” in any kind of context where dozens of people wind up dead. [NYT]
