Today, the Times reminds us that Muslim prayer worship took place in a reserved space in the actual Twin Towers while they still stood. Meanwhile, the Post provides a gruesome map of exactly where human remains landed after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, in an attempt to define how many blocks the tragedy truly encompassed. (If you’re really counting, though, the map shows that no human remains were found on the blocks where the Cordoba House is planned to be built. But why on earth would you count something like that? This is what we’ve come to? Human splatter maps? Ugh.) [NYT, NYP]
