Family and friends of Carlos Castro, the Portuguese journalist brutally murdered by his alleged lover Renato Seabra last week, poured the dead man’s ashes down a subway grate in Times Square yesterday. Following a funeral in Newark, his sisters and a friend took a limo to Broadway and 43rd Street and quickly dumped the ashes without saying a word, as per Castro’s wishes. [NYP, NYDN]
