Three 16-year-old girls had a rude awakening in downtown Brooklyn yesterday when they were busted by an employee at Target as they attempted to make off with merchandise from the discount chain. Once nabbed, store workers found clothing, shoes, gum, makeup, and stationery in their handbags. The girls were shocked to learn that, despite their young age, they could still be charged with shoplifting by police. We were shocked to learn that 16-year-olds still know what stationery is.
