Gunshot Victim Can’t Get a Cab

A Harlem man learned a valuable lesson about New York City transportation yesterday: When you’re bleeding from a bullet wound and you need to get to the hospital, take the train. The unnamed 20-year-old was shot in the arm in a housing project on 152nd Street early this morning and quickly ran to 150th to hail a cab. At least four taxis passed him over the next fifteen minutes; eventually, an ambulance showed up and took him to the hospital. Don’t worry, cabbies. He was fine. [NYP]
