It’s about time! Okay, okay, so Law & Order: SVU has been on hiatus basically since Dominique Strauss-Kahn was arrested. But we’re glad to hear that the saga of the former IMF boss and the Sofitel maid will get the Dick Wolf treatment. According to TV Guide, actor Franco Nero will play an Italian version of DSK for the show’s season premiere. (Nero recently played the hot grandpa who ends up with Vanessa Redgrave — his wife in real life — in Letters to Juliet.) Meanwhile, in other DSK news, Bloomberg BusinessWeek wonders in their new issue whether the IMF covered too much for his intra-office philandering.
