Rolling Stone founder (and owner of Us Weekly and Men’s Journal) Jann Wenner is getting a divorce — but not from the man with whom he lives and with whom he shares children. Instead he’s been sued for divorce by Jane Wenner, his estranged wife that he left sixteen years ago to be with former Calvin Klein model Matt Nye. She filed back in June, according to the Post, and now media gossips are wondering whether this means a breakup of the Wenner media empire. Jann started Rolling Stone with money he borrowed from Jane’s dad back in the sixties, and the complications of breaking up their shared interests have helped delay the couple’s official split. “It can only mean they are selling,” someone told the tabloid, regarding the divorce. But there could still be another, sweeter reason for a final split: Now that gay marriage is legal in New York, maybe Nye and Wenner want to make it official!
