NBC News has put the Mitt Romney campaign on notice regarding its masquerading of a 30-second Nightly News clip as an ad. In the “ad,” Tom Brokaw can be seen announcing the results of the January 21, 1997 House vote that found then-Speaker Newt Gingrich guilty of ethics violations.
