Candace Bushnell, the real-life Carrie Bradshaw whose New York Observer columns became Sex and the City, is being sued again by an ex-friend. Her former manager Clifford Streit, the inspiration for Carrie’s buddy Stanford Blatch, wants around $150,000 from Bushnell out of the profits from the unwatchable movie sequel. His claim is based on the settlement from the last time he sued her, in which the author agreed to hand over 7.5 percent of her earnings from the show. “It’s a garbage lawsuit,” says Bushnell’s lawyer.
